This PVC Post is cost effective, stylish, and perfect for use with installing gates.
This post features a 1-way design, and is designed specifically for use as a latch or hinge post. It comes with an internal aluminium insert, which provides the right rigidity to handle a gate.
DO NOT USE RAPID SET CONCRETE ON ALUMINIUM POSTS AND STRUCTURES AS IT CAN CAUSE CORROSION. (Use regular concrete instead)
Post Measurements:
- This post measures at 2590mm x 102mm x 102mm (H x W x D).
- The walls of this post are thick at 3.8mm for better structural integrity.
- 2 x slotted holes on one side for inserting rails.
This post also comes with a free top cap! We also offer alternative post caps in our store.
Aluminium Insert:
- The aluminium insert is the entire length of the post – 2590mm.
- The insert is 1.5mm thick.
The aluminium insert also provides a sturdy substrate for fixing any latches or hinges.
