Our U Channel Slats are perfect for fixing to walls or posts.
These slats feature a ‘U Channel’ design, and are made with a top-grade 6060-T5 alloy. The aluminium material used has been rigorously tested, and passed our quality tests. Our fencing products are also up to Australian standard and regulations. These U Channel slats feature a 2.5mm wall thickness, and also has patented friction legs for non-weld assembly.
The aluminium material also comes with a Genuine Australian Interpon Powder Coating. With the coating, the slats are designed to withstand Australian’s harsh climate. This Slat U Channel measures at 28mm wide, and comes in at 6000mm long. It also comes with 2 x screw flutes which allows for fixing of end plates. It also comes in a range of colours that match the selection of our other aluminium slat fencing products. The available colours are: Black, Monument, Basalt, Woodland Grey, Silver, Dune, Surfmist, or White.
This Slat U Channel is durable and strong. It’s also eco-friendly and flame resistant. Aluminium features similar strength and durability properties to steel, whilst being 1/3rd the weight. It’s also more cost-effective.
This means the slat U Channels offer reliability, whilst also being eco-friendly and flame resistant. The material and powder-coating ensures the paint on the slat stays looking fresh, and won’t chip—affecting the surrounding environment. For high-risk fire areas, these U Channel slats are the top choice. They feature flame retardant properties, and even in burning hot temperatures (up to 600-700-degrees Celsius), they only melt—not burn.
The Slats are also naturally resistant to bugs and mould growth!
Aluminium naturally has a non-porous surface, which stops the growth of mould, mildew, and fungi. Unlike timber fencing, it also doesn’t attract insects and termites!
